Red fire in apartment building in Ho Chi Minh City

TPO - Authorities are investigating and clarifying the fire at an apartment building in Binh Tan District (HCMC) that damaged a lot of property.

On June 23, Binh Tan District Police (HCMC) coordinated with relevant units to investigate the cause of the apartment fire that recently occurred in the area.

Initial information, at about 3:40 a.m. the same day, people discovered that an apartment on the 19th floor of an apartment building on Vo Van Kiet Street (An Lac Ward, Binh Tan District) was on fire, so they shouted, tried to put out the fire and reported it to the authorities.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Police and Rescue Team of Binh Tan District Police mobilized many vehicles, officers and soldiers to the scene and quickly controlled the fire.

Firefighters are on the scene.

At the time of the fire, the tenants of the apartment were not inside so there were no casualties. Due to the impact of the fire, the residents living inside the apartment building panicked and moved to the ground to ensure safety.

The apartment walls were blackened by smoke.

Many properties inside the apartment were damaged.

The fire burned down some household items and burned an area of ​​about 9m2/75m2.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by authorities.
