Important notes for candidates before the first exam of the 2024 high school graduation exam

On the evening of June 26, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City compiled a number of notes and instructions for candidates before the first exam of the high school graduation exam tomorrow morning (June 27).

Accordingly, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Van Hieu sent to more than 90,000 candidates wishes of luck and to achieve the desired results in this exam.

A representative of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City noted that when candidates discover that they have forgotten their documents or exam cards, they should not go back to get them but should report to the head of the exam site for instructions on how to resolve the issue. Running back to get their documents will create unnecessary stress and pressure, making it impossible for them to do well on the exam.

In addition, candidates need to check the items allowed in the exam room, including pens, pencils, erasers, set-pointers, graphing rulers, rulers, drawing tools, geography atlases, and handheld calculators without word processing functions and without memory cards.

Finally, candidates and parents need to carefully remember the gathering time of each exam session so as not to arrive at the exam site later than the scheduled time, resulting in not being able to attend that exam session.

Tomorrow morning (June 27), candidates must be present at the examination site at 6:30 am. The examination papers will be distributed at 7:30 am and the examination time will start at 7:35 am. The examination time for Literature is 120 minutes.

On the same afternoon, candidates must be present at the examination site at 1:30 p.m. The examination papers will be distributed at 2:20 p.m. and the examination time will start at 2:30 p.m. The duration of the Math exam is 90 minutes.
