Eye-catching cross-terrain horse racing in Lam Dong

(VTC News) - On the afternoon of August 16, at the Thien Ma Madagui horse and dog racing track (Da Huoai commune, Lam Dong province), the 2025 Cross-Terrain Equestrian Tournament took place with the participation of 20 racers.

The competition has 20 athletes and 20 horses from 9 domestic sport equestrian clubs including: Hanoi Horse Club, Happy Ranch Club, Red Lion Club, Germ Garden Club, Truong Linh Club, Lang Biang Club, PTS Viet Tri Horse Club, Hong Lam - Madagui Club, Tin Max Horse Club.

The teams took turns competing (1 rider 1 horse) on the Cross-Country course with a total length of 1,800m. Right from the start, the racers showed their determination to break away and strive to take the lead.

The horse race attracted a large crowd of spectators.

Among the 20 riders participating in the tournament, there are many female athletes. This horse racing tournament not only aims to launch the sport horse riding movement, aiming to build a new type of sport - entertainment, but also contributes to creating resources for high-performance sports participating in the SEA Games and promoting the sports movement of Lam Dong province as well as the whole country.

Under the cheers of a large audience, the horses and racers gave extremely exciting performances.

Female spectators were excited to see the horses gliding like the wind over the obstacles on the racetrack.

The warhorse ran through the water holes on the road, making white foam fly up.

The students enthusiastically cheered on the racers.

In the stands, the audience was talking excitedly about the horses and the riders.

Two children cheered as they watched the horses speed up.

Participating in this tournament are selected racehorses from all over the country.

At the end of the tournament, the organizing committee awarded the first prize to athlete Y Talia Byă from Happy Ranch Club; the second prize to athlete Nguyen Thanh Son Lam, PTS Viet Tri Horse Club; the third prize to athlete Nguyen Quynh Trang, Happy Ranch Club. The total prize for the competing teams is 1.5 billion VND.
