Minh Vuong spoke heartfelt words when saying goodbye to Hoang Anh Gia Lai

(PLVN) - Hoang Anh Gia Lai Club held a farewell ceremony for four players: Tran Minh Vuong, Chau Ngoc Quang, Tran Bao Toan and Dung Quang Nho.

Tran Minh Vuong, Chau Ngoc Quang, Tran Bao Toan and Dung Quang Nho are all players who grew up at Hoang Anh Gia Lai academy like Xuan Truong, Cong Phuong, Van Toan and Tuan Anh.

During the farewell ceremony and the end of the season, player Tran Minh Vuong, who has been with Hoang Anh Gia Lai since his teenage years, choked up: "We are grateful to Mr. Duc, who raised and taught us not only to be good players but also to be decent people and to study properly. No matter where we go, Hoang Anh Gia Lai will always be our second home."

Chau Ngoc Quang could not hide his emotions: "Pleiku is my second hometown. I promise to do my best to not let down those who have trusted me." Tran Bao Toan and Dung Quang Nho also expressed their hope to one day return to Hoang Anh Gia Lai, in any role.

The 2024/25 V.League season ended with a 3-3 draw with Quang Nam at Pleiku Arena, Hoang Anh Gia Lai finished 9th on the rankings with 29 points.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Anh - Executive Director of the Club expressed: "The Club recognizes the outstanding contributions of players Tran Minh Vuong, Chau Ngoc Quang, Tran Bao Toan, Dung Quang Nho - boys who were trained at Hoang Anh Gia Lai since they were 11 and 12 years old.

Now, you have grown up like your seniors Tuan Anh, Cong Phuong, Van Toan… and are about to enter a new chapter. Although the road ahead is not all roses, the Club will always follow and believe that you will firmly overcome all challenges."

Mr. Vu Tien Thanh – Technical Director, Director of Hoang Anh Gia Lai Academy – emphasized Mr. Duc's philosophy: "For the future of Vietnamese football". The club always creates conditions for young players to compete at the top level, and the departure of these four faces also opens up opportunities for the younger generation in the future.
