One person won the Jackpot of Vietlott's Mega 6/45 product worth more than 45 billion VND on the evening of November 15.
On the evening of November 15, Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott) - Ministry of Finance announced that in the 1,277th drawing of Mega 6/45 product, there was a winning ticket worth more than 45 billion VND. The lucky numbers to win the jackpot were: 08-13-31-36-37-40.
Responding to VTC News at 8:50 p.m., a representative of Vietlott said that the company still has no initial information about the lucky ticket because the prize-paying office has not announced it yet. Initial information may be announced on November 16.
Thus, after deducting income tax as prescribed, the ticket owner will actually receive nearly 41 billion VND.
Previously, on November 11, Vietlott awarded Jackpot 1 of Power 6/55 product, draw 1.105, worth nearly 149 billion VND to Mr. P (residing in District 8, Ho Chi Minh City). This is the third largest prize since the beginning of the year.
According to regulations, Mr. P. is obliged to pay personal income tax at the place of ticket issuance in Ho Chi Minh City with a total value of nearly 14.9 billion VND (10% of the prize value) and will be deducted immediately upon receiving the prize.
Mr. P. bought a hundred billion VND ticket at the lottery ticket selling point on Hoa Binh Street (Hoa Thanh Ward, Tan Phu District).
Mr. P. said that he lives and does business freely in District 8. He has been a regular buyer of Vietlott's lottery products since 2016. He shared that buying lottery is a weekend hobby to relax after stressful working days. He usually buys 20,000 - 30,000 VND/time and has maintained this hobby for more than 8 years now. His lucky ticket has 2 series of numbers chosen by the machine worth 20,000 VND.
At the award ceremony, Mr. P. donated 1 billion VND to Tam Tai Viet Social Fund to carry out social security work.
