Many machines were mobilized by the contractor to construct the North-South expressway through Luu Vinh Son commune.

According to the synthesis of the Office of the People's Committee of Luu Vinh Son commune, in 2023, in addition to the projects invested by the commune that must clear some areas, there are up to 9 large projects in the area that must reclaim an area of ​​up to 187.3 hectares, directly related to more than 1,000 households.

Of which, the North-South expressway alone has 4 component projects including: the main axis of the North-South expressway; Ngo Quyen road project of the North-South expressway project; Song Hanh road project, connecting DT 550-Ham Nghi, of the North-South expressway project; and the North-South expressway resettlement project.

To date, the North-South Expressway main axis project has paid compensation to 395/396 households; the Ngo Quyen road project has paid compensation to 126/126 households; the Song Hanh road project, connecting DT 550-Ham Nghi, has paid compensation to 146/146 households.

Along with the North-South Expressway, the area is also related to many other large projects that must be cleared, such as: Project to expand the Command Center, public housing, vocational training area for prisoners at Xuan Ha Prison, with a total recovered area of ​​13.4 hectares, affecting 37 households; Project to construct surrounding canals and compensate and clear the land of the Ha Tinh Provincial Police Detention Center with a recovered area of ​​20.7 hectares, affecting 208 households; Project to build a commercial, service, tourism and sports area in the Southwest of Thach Ha district, with a total recovered area of ​​79.76 hectares; Project to clear the land mine for the construction of the North-South Expressway with a total area of ​​25.1 hectares; Project to build the main road of Luu Vinh Son commune, with a recovered area of ​​4.7 hectares, affecting 74 households.

Mr. Tran Van Hai - Head of Vinh Cat village said: The village is currently building 2 resettlement areas to serve the projects. In the village, there are 35 households related to residential land, which must be relocated, but all households comply with the provisions of the law. Thanks to that, the progress of the projects is very fast. In general, the same is true for other villages, all doing very well in the land acquisition work, because the people strictly follow the policies of the superiors.

Currently, due to construction projects in the area, spring crop production activities are facing difficulties such as transportation, irrigation canals... but people are trying their best to overcome them, because everyone understands that the important thing that needs to be prioritized is the progress of key projects, including the North-South expressway.

Machines and workers are focused on leveling the ground and constructing houses at the resettlement area in Vinh Cat village, Luu Vinh Son.

Discussing the big task but creating high consensus among the people, Mr. Tran Ba ​​Hoanh - Chairman of the People's Committee of Luu Vinh Son commune said: "In 2023, the entire political system will focus on site clearance. In particular, we determined to do a good job of state management, rectify some stages, and create synchronization among the staff and civil servants.

At the same time, regularly coordinate well with all levels and sectors, especially the Compensation Council, Land Acquisition and Resettlement Support Council of Thach Ha district to properly implement legal regulations related to procedures on residential land and agricultural land. After smoothly implementing the steps and stages, we must focus on propaganda and mobilization work so that people understand and agree with the policies and guidelines."

According to Mr. Tran Ba ​​Hoanh (right), site clearance work is identified by the commune as a key task that must be given the highest level of focus.

Mr. Hoanh emphasized: “Compensation and land acquisition are difficult tasks, while at the same time, many key projects with large areas of land acquisition are being implemented in the area, so we determined that many complications would arise. Therefore, the commune pays great attention to the work of contacting and dialogue with citizens, trying to make people understand and agree, contributing to speeding up the progress of land acquisition. The Party Secretary and the Chairman of the Commune People's Committee organize regular meetings with citizens on the 7th and 22nd of each month; the Chairman of the Commune People's Committee receives citizens weekly, periodically on Thursdays."

According to data provided by the Commune People's Committee Office, in 2023, Luu Vinh Son Commune resolved many petitions and complaints through citizen reception. Also in the year, the commune had 75 petitions and complaints in various fields, mainly focusing on land, currently 70 petitions have been resolved; 5 petitions are continuing to be coordinated with district-level departments and branches for consideration and resolution due to their authority.
