In 2024, Thieu Hoa will achieve and exceed 27/27 key targets.

On December 3, the Party Executive Committee of Thieu Hoa district, term XX, 2020-2025, held the 27th Conference, evaluating the implementation of tasks in 2024; setting out goals, tasks and main solutions for 2025.

Overview of the conference.

In 2024, with the spirit of solidarity and high determination, the Party Committee, government and people of Thieu Hoa district have made efforts to overcome difficulties and challenges, completed assigned tasks and achieved quite comprehensive results. 27/27 main targets were achieved and exceeded the plan. The economy grew quite well. The growth rate of production value is estimated at 7.98%, ranking 10th in the province. Average income per capita reached 66.02 million VND; many economic indicators are among the leading localities of the province such as site clearance rate, disbursement of public investment capital, state budget revenue, enterprise development, investment capital mobilization.

Agricultural production increased in scale, value and efficiency in the direction of production linkage, land accumulation, large-scale agricultural production, and high-tech application. Rice productivity continued to be among the leading groups in the province. Maintaining 42 hectares of safe vegetables and 14.3 hectares of greenhouses, income reached over 2 billion VND/ha/year. There were 5 more 3-star OCOP products, bringing the total number of OCOP products in the district to 33 products.

The progress of building advanced and model new rural areas has been focused on accelerating. Up to now, there are 4 model new rural communes, 12 advanced new rural communes, 74/137 model new rural villages and 7 smart villages, completing 9/9 criteria of advanced new rural districts and completing the documents for submission to the appraisal.

The value of industrial production and construction is estimated at 8,315 billion VND, up 10.2% over the same period. Many new industrial production facilities have come into operation, of which the Alivia high-end footwear factory project has come into operation, attracting 2,000 workers. The Prime Minister has approved the investment policy for technical infrastructure of Smart Tech 2 industrial park. Inaugurated and put into operation a number of key traffic works to create new attractions in attracting investment.

Total export value is estimated at 47.94 million USD, up 23.11% over the same period. During the year, 100 new enterprises were established. Urban development has many breakthroughs. Urbanization rate reached 27.14%. Disbursement rate of public investment capital in the area reached 98.2%. Estimated state budget revenue is 860.15 billion VND, reaching 329% of the province's assigned estimate.

There have been many changes in culture and society. Many typical cultural and sports events have been successfully organized such as: The ceremony to receive the Certificate of recognition of "Lantern dance, ancient Cheo singing in the Ngu Vong Phuong Festival" in Thieu Quang commune as a national intangible cultural heritage; The 702nd anniversary of the death of Historian Le Van Huu was organized for the first time according to the festival scenario; The campaign to compose songs about Thieu Hoa, the Provincial Children's Football Tournament - Thanh Hoa Newspaper Cup 2024...

Spearhead education maintains quality among the leading localities in the province, has established the Le Van Huu Scholarship and Talent Promotion Fund.

Social security policies are fully and promptly implemented; this is one of the typical examples of the province implementing the Campaign "Supporting housing construction for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties in the province in the 2 years 2024 - 2025".

National defense and security are maintained stable. Party building and political system building work are renewed; administrative units are arranged and the apparatus is streamlined for effective implementation.

Representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee and district leaders congratulated the Standing Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc Hieu on being elected to the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

In 2025, the Thieu Hoa District Party Committee set out 27 targets on economy, culture - society; environment; security - order and Party building. Strive for an average production value growth rate of 9%. Average income per capita reaches 70 million VND or more. Total mobilized development investment capital reaches 5,000 billion VND or more. Budget revenue growth rate reaches 15% or more. Establish 100 enterprises.

Improve the quality of cultural and social activities. Strengthen the work of building the Party and the political system; improve the effectiveness of the government, the Fatherland Front, and mass organizations; complete the criteria to be recognized as a district meeting advanced new rural standards before June 2025; prepare well the conditions and successfully organize the Party Congress, grassroots Party cells and the 21st District Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
