(DN) - According to the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) Branch in Region 2, the organizational structure of the branch has 8 departments, including: General Department; Administration - Personnel Department; Foreign Exchange - Gold Management Department; Accounting - Payment Department; Currency - Treasury Department; SBV Regional Inspectorate; Department of Management and Supervision of State-owned commercial banks, people's credit funds and other organizations (referred to as Department of Management and Supervision 1) and Department of Management and Supervision of Joint Stock Commercial Banks and Foreign Credit Institutions (referred to as Department of Management and Supervision 2).

SBV Branch Region 2 is an administrative organization under the organizational structure of SBV headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City , with the function of advising and assisting the Governor of SBV in performing state management of currency, banking and foreign exchange activities in Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai province.

According to the State Bank of Vietnam, the State Bank of Vietnam Branch in Region 2 is in charge of an area with more than 700 branches of credit institutions, capital mobilization scale accounts for 31% of the country and 4 times the average of other regions; credit balance scale accounts for 32% of the country and 5 times that of other regions.

Previously, on July 7, the State Bank of Vietnam held a conference to announce the decision to transfer and appoint the director and deputy directors of the State Bank of Vietnam branch in Region 2, as well as the decision to appoint department heads and deputy department heads of the State Bank of Vietnam branch in Region 2.
