Education sector ready to respond to storm No. 10

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that the East Sea continues to welcome a tropical depression that is likely to strengthen into Storm Bualoi (storm number 10). Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son has sent a telegram to the Directors of the Departments of Education and Training of provinces and cities requesting them to strengthen their response to storm number 9 and be ready to respond to storm number 10.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, this morning, the center of storm No. 10 was in the central region of the Philippines with the strongest wind near the center of the storm at level 11 (103-117km/h), gusting to level 14. This is a super fast moving storm, up to 30km/h.

Currently, international and domestic forecasts agree on the scenario that the storm will make landfall in our country. The highest probability currently is that the storm will hit the North Central region, around Thanh Hoa - Ha Tinh . Another scenario suggests that the storm will move lower, from Ha Tinh to Quang Ngai.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that at 7 a.m. on September 27, when operating in the eastern part of the Central East Sea, the storm was at level 11-12, gusting to level 15.

To strengthen and proactively respond to storm No. 10 and minimize damage, ensure safety for people and property in the Education Sector, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son has just sent a telegram requesting the Departments of Education and Training of provinces and cities from Quang Ngai and above to have a plan to respond to storm No. 10.

Specifically, the local education sector strictly implements the instructions of local and central management agencies on proactively responding to storms. Prepare plans to respond to storm No. 10, ensuring the safety of students, teachers as well as facilities and documents in schools.

The Ministry of Education and Training also requested the Departments of Education and Training to update information, summarize the damage, report to the Provincial People's Committee for remediation, and at the same time report to the Ministry to summarize and report to the Government.
