The report of the Provincial Police said that recently the number of complaints and denunciations has tended to increase, some cases are complicated, directly affecting security and order. There are cases that have been resolved by the authorities according to regulations but citizens continue to complain, denounce, demand illegal rights, affecting security and order in the area.
The petition focuses on: land reclamation, compensation, site clearance; land disputes; illegal mining; environmental pollution; food safety; traffic order and safety; security and order... along with reflections related to the performance of public duties by police officers and soldiers.

Despite the increased workload, the Provincial Police strictly implemented the work of receiving people and handling petitions; arranged staff with professional knowledge and the ability to guide, explain, and persuade people to understand and comply with the law.

From 2024 to present, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation has forwarded 19 petitions with 15 cases. The Provincial Police have reviewed and handled them according to their authority or transferred them to competent authorities for settlement.
Some cases of crime denunciations handled by the District Police Investigation Agency have not been resolved completely, and the handling of information about crimes is temporarily suspended; some cases have been transferred to the provincial level (after reorganization), so the results have not been announced and the Provincial National Assembly Delegation has not yet been given a final response.
At the meeting, delegates also raised difficulties: classifying and processing petitions; pressure when the number of cases under provincial authority increased sharply after organizational adjustments; and limited capacity to advise on handling petitions at some commune-level police stations.

Concluding the working session, Deputy Head of the delegation Thai Thi An Chung highly appreciated the seriousness and responsibility of the Provincial Police in receiving people, handling complaints and denunciations in accordance with regulations; built a process of handling people, work and responsibilities clearly, regularly urged the progress and quality of handling, contributing to maintaining security and order.
Deputy Head of the specialized delegation, Thai Thi An, also requested the Provincial Police to focus on resolving complicated, prolonged, and large-scale petitions to prevent mass complaints and not let "hot spots" form; Strengthening legal propaganda, raising people's vigilance, especially against acts of taking advantage of trust to appropriate property, fraud in cyberspace; Strengthening coordination with the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and relevant agencies; synthesizing and proposing amendments and supplements to legal regulations to remove difficulties and obstacles arising in the practice of handling complaints and denunciations.
The monitoring delegation noted the recommendations of the Provincial Police and will synthesize and forward them to the competent authority for consideration according to regulations.
