On October 1, the People's Committee of Dak Nong province announced that it had just issued a directive on strengthening solutions to prevent, stop, and handle "black credit" activities.
Accordingly, recently, there have appeared a number of new methods and tricks, taking advantage of high technology, hiding under the guise of businesses to carry out illegal lending and debt collection acts, causing public outrage and affecting security and order in Dak Nong.
The main reason is that some people need to borrow capital without mortgaging assets; propaganda and dissemination of methods, tricks, and consequences of "black credit" are still limited and not very effective; State management in some areas still has loopholes and shortcomings that allow bad elements to take advantage of "black credit" activities.
Dak Glong District Police (Dak Nong) worked and searched the residence of a suspect involved in loan sharking.
To improve the effectiveness of prevention, suppression and handling of this matter, the People's Committee of Dak Nong province strictly prohibits all acts of participation, cover-up and assistance for "black credit" and usury activities by agencies, organizations, officials and armed forces in the province.
Dak Nong Provincial Police were asked to launch high-profile campaigns to attack and suppress crime; destroy gambling rings, organize gambling, and defraud property through capital mobilization and participation in savings and credit association; and destroy organized crime gangs and high-tech crimes.
The Dak Nong Provincial Labor Federation is assigned to listen, grasp the thoughts and aspirations and guide and support workers and laborers to access safe and preferential loan sources. The People's Committees of districts and Gia Nghia City focus on directing and effectively implementing mechanisms and policies on social security, new rural construction, poverty reduction, job creation, and livelihoods for workers to avoid getting caught up in "black credit".
