To remove difficulties and overcome shortcomings and limitations to focus on site clearance and public investment, Secretary of the District Party Committee Pham Tien Dung said: The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee has directed the District People's Committee to lead functional departments and contractors to speed up the implementation of projects that have started, resolve difficulties to disburse investment capital according to regulations; resolutely implement assigned targets, ensure compliance with principles and responsibilities. For medium-term public investment projects, the District People's Committee makes plans to resolve difficulties and problems, propose policies, and report to the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee for direction. The project management board re-establishes the schedule for project implementation progress, reports on the progress of each bidding package of each project. The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee has also directed the District People's Committee to work with each construction and construction consulting unit to commit to implementation progress and disbursement progress.
In order to attract investment and promote business development, Ngoc Lac district has focused on promoting activities to promote the potential and advantages of the locality to promote, attract and invite investors. Up to now, the district has planned industrial clusters Phuc Thinh, Minh Tien, Ngoc Son, Ngoc Trung, Cao Loc Thinh. At the same time, calling for investment promotion to build industrial cluster infrastructure to attract enterprises and production facilities. Currently, it has attracted 3 direct investment projects: Minh Son toy, garment and leather shoe production project; Ngoc Lac export footwear production and processing factory project in Quang Trung commune; and projects of Xuan Thien Group.
To promote the effective clearance and public investment, based on the assigned functions and tasks, the District People's Committee has assigned the Department of Infrastructure and Urban Economics to minimize the time for appraising the feasibility study report, promptly carry out the inspection and acceptance of completed projects and hand them over for use immediately after the investor requests. The Department of Agriculture and Environment speeds up the progress of establishing and appraising land use planning and land use plans; promptly resolves problems in clearance, procedures, documents for converting land use purposes, and procedures for approving project waste disposal sites. Based on the investment policy plan, the district compensation, support and resettlement council coordinates with the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, People's Committees of communes, towns and related units to unify the compensation and support plan according to the decisions approved by the District People's Committee...
