A doctor with passion for his profession: Graduated from the Faculty of General Medicine, Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Doctor Nong Trong Hoa, Head of the Department of Examination and Emergency Resuscitation, Lang Son Lung Hospital, has nearly 10 years of passion for his profession, bringing valuable experience to himself, contributing to protecting health and improving the quality of life for patients.

Doctor Nong Trong Hoa was born in 1991, from Diem He commune, Lang Son province, graduated from Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy, in 2016 he was sent to work at Lang Son Lung Hospital. In 2018 he was sent by the Hospital to study Flexible Bronchoscopy Technique at the Central Lung Hospital, in 2019 he participated in the class of Needle Biopsy of Lung Tumors under CT guidance, at the Central Hospital 74, in 2023 he participated in the class of Blind Pleural Biopsy and Minimal Pleural Opening, from 2021 to present, he has participated in the basic Emergency Resuscitation (ECR) class and many other specialized training classes. During his studies and work, he has constantly strived and devoted himself to improving his qualifications as well as the effectiveness of his work, contributing to improving the quality of examination and treatment at the Hospital. These efforts are recognized by certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Health.

At the same time, he is also a person with outstanding achievements in implementing movements: Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; special emulation to achieve achievements to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee's Traditional Day; mobilizing and participating in voluntary blood donation...

Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Head Nurse of the Examination Department - HSCC shared: Comrade Hoa has very good professional capacity, enthusiastically helps colleagues, does not hesitate to guide each person by hand-holding. Besides, he always fulfills the role of a department leader well, is sharp in work, often makes wise decisions in professional activities as well as management activities of the department.

As a department manager, Dr. Nong Trong Hoa manages human resources, directly participates in treatment and scientific research. In addition, he also participates in directing and guiding lower levels in patient care, actively participates in emulation movements launched by the unit, the Trade Union and the Youth Union. Although the workload is very large, he always knows how to coordinate smoothly with the departments in the unit, constantly learns to improve his professional qualifications, and completes all assigned tasks well.

In scientific research and application of new techniques in medical examination and treatment, Dr. Nong Trong Hoa is one of the pioneers of the Hospital, has implemented many techniques, effectively applied at the Hospital such as: Artificial ventilation, CT-guided lung tumor biopsy, blind pleural biopsy, minimal pleural opening, bronchoscopy. Bronchoscopy alone, in a short time, has supported the diagnosis and treatment of nearly 3 thousand patients.

Mr. HTV in Luong Van Tri Ward, Lang Son Province said: “I went to the central hospital for a check-up and was diagnosed with very severe pulmonary tuberculosis. The doctor advised me to be hospitalized, but my family's circumstances were very difficult, so I had to be transferred to Lang Son Lung Hospital for treatment. Here, I was treated with care by Dr. Hoa, who regularly guided, explained, and helped me with the use of medication, how to limit side effects, and with daily eating. The same goes for other patients in the room. They were always respected with a warm and thoughtful attitude, treating patients like their own relatives.

Bringing new, difficult techniques to implement in his hometown is Dr. Hoa's passionate dream. He shared: Every time I see people coming to the hospital for treatment but having to transfer to a higher level hospital, I feel very sorry, because the distance is long, costly and can also endanger the patient's life. This has motivated me to try to study hard to successfully implement new, specialized techniques in my home province.

In any situation, he devotes all his heart and professional knowledge to treating patients; regardless of day or night, holidays or Tet, when a patient calls, Dr. Hoa is present at the hospital. "Having chosen to pursue a medical career, I must always consider the patient's pain as my own. When witnessing the patient's pain due to illness, I understand that my presence can bring them hope and peace of mind.
