On the evening of December 28, the final night of the first season of Miss Vietnam National Pageant took place at Phu Tho Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City.

Miss Vietnam 2024 is Miss Tay Do Beauty

Nearly 60 beauties from provinces and cities across the country competed in the following categories: ao dai, bikini, costumes inspired by traditional cultural costumes of different regions, and behavioral contest.

The Top 9 entered the presentation round with the content "Vietnam in me is..." including: Nguyen Thi Thao Trang, Le Huyen Trang, Do Thi Phuong Thanh, Nguyen Thi Cam Ly, Quan Tran Gia Han, Nguyen Ngoc Kieu Duy, Nguyen Hoang Hai Anh, Huynh Nguyen Yen Nhi and Phan Le Kim Ngoc.

The beauties had fluent and emotional presentations expressing national pride and pride in being Vietnamese. Many beauties spoke bilingually.

The top three, including Nguyen Ngoc Kieu Duy (Can Tho), Do Thi Phuong Thanh ( Thai Binh ) and Nguyen Thi Cam Ly (Dak Lak), entered the behavioral round.

All three answered the same question: why do they think they will be crowned Miss Vietnam 2024? Then, the top 2 answered the same question: "If you were crowned, what would be the best thing about Vietnam that you would bring to the Miss International 2025 pageant?" from Miss Thuy Tien.

Kieu Duy said that Vietnam is a beautiful country so it would be difficult to bring only one thing to the world. She wants to bring the image of a woman who is both traditional and modern, and at the same time has the spirit of integration, showing a close and beautiful Vietnam.

“I have learned about the 17 sustainable development goals of the United Nations. I realize that young Vietnamese people have to do a lot of things, together solving global problems such as education and environment. I will make Vietnamese people proud if I have the opportunity to become a beauty queen, contributing my youth” – Kieu Duy shared.

In the final result, the crown of Miss Vietnam 2024 was awarded to beauty Nguyen Ngoc Kieu Duy from Can Tho.

The first runner-up title was awarded to beauty Do Thi Phuong Thanh. The second runner-up title was awarded to beauty Nguyen Thi Cam Ly.
