Accordingly, 12 key officials under the management of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee have applied for early retirement. Of these, 5 are heads of provincial departments and branches (2 are Provincial Party Committee members); 4 are deputy heads of provincial departments and branches and 3 are members of the district-level Standing Committee.
Notably, many officials, despite having a long working time, have voluntarily retired early, such as: Director of Quang Binh Department of Tourism Nguyen Ngoc Quy has 45 months left; Deputy Head of the Provincial Ethnic Minorities Committee has 48 months left; Head of the Minh Hoa District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee Nguyen Canh Tuan has 46 months left.
In Minh Hoa district alone (Quang Binh), 15 officials and civil servants have registered to resign according to Decree 178/2024/ND-CP of the Government on policies and regimes for officials, civil servants, public employees, workers and armed forces in implementing the reorganization of the political system.
Among the cadres and civil servants who registered to resign from their jobs in Minh Hoa district, there are 8 people in the Party and mass organizations, 7 people in the government with working age from 2 to under 10 years. Many cadres are holding the positions of head and deputy head of units such as: Mr. Nguyen Canh Tuan (Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee); Mr. Dinh Thanh Bang (Head of the Internal Affairs Department); Mr. Cao Ngoc Dien (Head of the Ethnic Affairs Department); Mr. Dinh Thanh Xuan (Director of the Protective Forest Management Board)...
Quang Binh Provincial Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang requested that all levels and sectors in the province continue to thoroughly grasp and widely propagate the policy and Resolution 18-NQ/TW on streamlining the political system's organizational apparatus, raising awareness and responsibility of cadres and party members in organizing implementation.
In addition to many officials requesting early retirement, localities in Quang Binh province need to pay attention to creating a source of young officials, female officials, and ethnic minority officials; grasp the ideology and implement well policies for officials, civil servants, and public employees in the process of rearranging and restructuring the organizational apparatus.
