Many new points at the first Lao Cai Provincial Party Congress

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Creativity - Development", the Congress took place over 3 days (from September 28 to 30, 2025) with the participation of 440 delegates representing over 119,000 party members in the entire Party Committee.

The Congress has the task of summarizing the implementation of the congress resolution for the 2020-2025 term on the basis of the content of the congress resolution of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee and the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee before the merger; determining the directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term; discussing and contributing opinions to the draft documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress; discussing and contributing opinions to the Action Program and 17 key Projects of the Provincial Party Executive Committee to implement the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

One of the new features of the first Lao Cai Provincial Party Congress is the comprehensive application of the Digital Congress on a unified platform. The platform allows for the roll call of delegates using facial recognition; intelligently manages discussion registration; provides the “Paperless Office” function; AI virtual assistant answers all questions surrounding information about the Congress; comprehensive logistical support regarding schedule, location and necessary phone numbers.

In addition, the new feature in the organization of the Congress is the division into 6 discussion groups, with an expected 80-90 presentations in the groups and 5 presentations in the Hall covering all sectors, fields, units and localities on the Congress documents; proposing solutions to carry out tasks in the new term, especially 17 key projects in the new term.

On this occasion, the Congress Organizing Committee launched and introduced the electronic information page to promote the 1st Lao Cai Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, designed and built by the Provincial Electronic Information Portal. The page has the access domain name: https://daihoidangbotinh.laocai.gov.vn, designed with 6 main sections.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai Province Giang Thi Dung informed that the Provincial Party Congress is a broad political activity, demonstrating the intelligence, bravery and high sense of responsibility of the entire Party Committee, the entire people and the entire army in the province. The success of the Provincial Party Congress depends on many factors, in which propaganda plays a particularly important role.

To make the propaganda work effective, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province requested news agencies, newspapers, reporters and editors to focus on promoting the preparation work for the Congress; reflecting the enthusiastic opinions of cadres, party members and people contributing to the documents; the general goals, main targets and directions, tasks and main solutions in the period of 2025 - 2030 and the following years; the atmosphere of excitement, trust and expectations of cadres, party members and people of all walks of life towards the Congress.
