At the preparatory session, the Congress elected the Congress Presidium consisting of 17 comrades; the Congress Secretariat consisting of 2 comrades and the Delegate Qualification Examination Board consisting of 5 comrades. Accordingly, 100% of the delegates voted unanimously to approve the list of the Congress Presidium, the Congress Secretariat, and the Delegate Qualification Examination Board to attend the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

The preparatory session of the Congress also approved the Program, regulations, and working regulations of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030; announced the division into 6 discussion groups and the discussion location. At the same time, discussed and contributed opinions to the draft documents of the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Tomorrow morning, September 29, the Lao Cai Provincial Party Congress will hold its official session. This is a significant political event, marking a new stage of development for the province, after the merger of Yen Bai and Lao Cai provinces. The Congress is held at a time when the entire Party, people and army are striving to compete for achievements to welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party; it is a time when the Party's will blends with the people's determination to successfully implement the country's development goals and orientations until 2030, self-reliant, confident and moving forward in the era of national development.

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Creativity - Development", the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Lao Cai province are determined to successfully implement the goal of "Building a clean and strong Party and political system; promoting the strength of great national unity; creating a breakthrough in building Lao Cai province into a growth pole, a center for international economic trade connections, developing in a green, harmonious, unique and happy direction".

The delegates respectfully remembered and expressed gratitude to the outstanding children of the Fatherland and the province who heroically sacrificed for national independence, national reunification and a peaceful life today.
