Many cultural and sports activities to celebrate National Day

This is an annual activity organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, commemorating the 78th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2023) and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2023).

The most exciting and crowded activities at the venue were the exchange, performance and competition of pounding sticky rice cake, throwing con, throwing pa pao, and tug of war. The main participants were the Mong and Thai ethnic groups living in Dien Bien Phu City and Dien Bien District. This attracted a large number of local people and tourists to have fun and experience.

Through the above activities, we aim to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere, encourage and motivate cadres, soldiers and people of all ethnic groups in the province to promote the patriotic emulation movement, determined to overcome difficulties, actively participate in labor production, socio -economic development, ensure national defense and security...
