When Metro Line 1 begins commercial operation, Ho Chi Minh City will support 100% of ticket prices for residents. At the same time, the city will implement many policies to support ticket prices for groups such as meritorious people, children, pupils and students. |

The metro line running across the new Eastern Bus Station is about to enter Long Binh Depot (District 9). |
Metro Line 1 Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien is in operation, promising to become the backbone traffic route connecting the city center with the eastern gateway area of Ho Chi Minh City. With the last station located near the new Eastern Bus Station, passengers from the center can completely use the metro to get here. |
After the operation period, the trains will be gathered at Long Binh depot (Thu Duc City). This is where inspection, repair and maintenance activities will take place to ensure that the trains are always in good condition and ready to serve passengers. |
The HCM City Urban Railway Management Board said that Metro Line 1 has completed 100% of its construction. The remaining work is still being focused on to keep the official launch date of December 22. |
