A Luoi 1 Commune Police helped Mr. Ho Van Nga's family build a new house and demolish the temporary house. |
On the morning of early August 2025, after receiving information that Ms. A Viet Thi Ngon (born in 1990), Deputy Head of the Security Team of Cu Xo village, A Luoi 4 commune, was admitted to Hue Central Hospital to treat two brain tumors, Captain Tran Khanh Long, an officer of A Luoi 4 commune police, immediately made a report to propose that the Commune Police Chief consider and allocate the unit's budget to visit and encourage Ms. Ngon. At the same time, he proposed to mobilize the entire commune police force to join hands to help Ms. Ngon and her family.
With the spirit of "mutual love", after 2 days of launching, A Luoi 4 Commune Police launched a support campaign within the unit and connected with a number of officers working at the People's Police Academy to get nearly 5 million VND to promptly support Ms. Ngon to partially cover hospital fees.
Immediately afterwards, Captain Le Khanh Long, Deputy Chief of Police of A Luoi 4 Commune, along with the Commune Police officers, drove a motorbike to Hue Central Hospital to personally hand over the money to Ms. Ngon, helping her feel secure in her treatment.
Receiving the financial support and timely encouragement from the A Luoi 4 Commune Police, Ms. A Viet Thi Ngon was moved to write a letter of thanks. In the letter, Ms. Ngon expressed: “On behalf of my family, I would like to thank the Command Board, officers, soldiers and the A Luoi 4 Commune Police, and the grassroots security force for their encouragement and inquiries about my health. Thank you for the precious gift, given to me in a timely manner when my family was in the most difficult time.”
Lieutenant Colonel Ngo Duc Vinh, Chief of A Luoi 4 Commune Police, said that A Luoi 4 Commune was merged from 4 communes: Huong Phong, A Roang, Dong Son and Lam Dot. Currently, the whole commune has an area of over 233 square kilometers with more than 10,700 people living there.
As a commune with a border with Laos, most of the people are Pa Co and Ta Oi ethnic groups, so life is still difficult. After merging administrative units, together with the local government, A Luoi 4 Commune Police immediately implemented plans to ensure security and order, traffic safety in the area, and support and help people, especially in handling administrative procedures.
“In the past, we had to go to the district police to apply for an ID card or to issue or change a driver's license, register residence information, etc. Now, these procedures are handled by the commune police, helping people reduce travel time. Most of the procedures are carried out on the VNeID application and the National Public Service Portal. Because we were not familiar with the operation, we received enthusiastic support and guidance from the commune police officers, and the procedures were handled quickly,” said Ms. Ho Thi An in A Luoi 4 commune.
These days, under the scorching sun, many officers and soldiers of A Luoi 1 Commune Police still enthusiastically support Mr. Ho Van Nga's family (in Ta Ay Ta village) to build a house. Mr. Nga's family is in difficult circumstances, so the A Luoi 1 Commune government included him in the temporary house removal support program. Together with the local Party committees and authorities, the Commune Police have assigned officers to support working days to help Mr. Nga's family finish building a solid house before this year's storm season.
Also during this time, the A Luoi 2 Commune Police officers, along with the Youth Union members and youth of the Hue City Police Youth Union, raced against time to support Mr. A Viet Bai (born in 1994, a poor household in Ar Ba Nham village, A Luoi 2 Commune) and his wife to build a new house in time to complete and inaugurate it before August 19. Because the construction site of Mr. Bai's house is located in a mountainous area with difficult roads, the forces had to use their strength to carry each stone, brick, tile, and bag of cement to the assembly point to build the house.
In addition to the above activities, the police force of A Luoi communes is currently carrying out a peak campaign to attack and suppress crimes; continuing to maintain many humanitarian activities, oriented towards the community such as giving gifts, supporting livelihoods for Pa Co and Ta Oi ethnic households in difficult circumstances; giving scholarships to poor students; implementing the models "Security Light", "New Rural Light" to strengthen the maintenance of security and order in border areas.
