With the advantage of being a construction engineer, traveling a lot, having a deep understanding of the land, people and life in the midland and mountainous provinces, when looking at his photos, viewers will feel the beautiful colors of life, of natural landscapes, and the daily activities of people are clearly depicted with diverse perspectives and many emotions. His topics are very rich and diverse. Whether it is landscape, still life, portrait or life, he takes care of them, vividly expressing them through his lens, bringing passion and excitement to viewers when looking at his works.

With the mindset of someone who is always searching, learning, discovering his own direction and wishing to contribute to promoting the beauty of the country and people of Vietnam to the world , NSNA Vu Manh Cuong has "brought the bell to strike foreign lands" and achieved many encouraging results. He has won hundreds of awards of all kinds at photo contests organized by Photography Associations and Photography Federations around the world such as FIAP, PSA, IAAP, APU... Therefore, he was awarded the titles AFIAP, EFIAP, EFIAP/b, EFIAP/s, EFIAP/g, EFIAP/p... by FIAP. For him, participating in international photo contests is to learn and improve himself. On the other hand, it is also the way photographers promote the image of the country, contribute to tourism development, help international friends understand and love the country and people of Vietnam more.

In 2020, at the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (2020 - 2025), Artist Vu Manh Cuong was elected to the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists and assigned to be in charge of the Northern Mountainous Region. Hopefully, in his new position, with his passion and endless creativity, he will create more beautiful works and at the same time contribute to the overall success of Vietnamese photography. ☐
