In the green uniform of Regiment 4 (Division 5, Military Region 7), Professional Military Major Phan Thi Kim Oanh - President of the Regiment's Women's Union is not only known as a dedicated pharmacist but also as a "fire-starter" for emulation movements and women's activities in the unit. With a sense of responsibility and deep attachment to the collective, she has been contributing to spreading the beautiful image of women in the Army in the new era.

As a military pharmacist, Major Kim Oanh always upholds the spirit of learning and constantly improves her professional qualifications to perform well the health care work for officers and soldiers in the unit. "I clearly understand that every task is important, but for those working in the medical field, they must be even more careful, thoughtful and dedicated. Taking good care of the health of soldiers also contributes to maintaining the fighting strength of the unit" - Major Kim Oanh said.

In addition to her professional work, she is also a dynamic and creative leader of the Women's Union. Since taking on the role of President of the Women's Union of the Regiment, Major Kim Oanh has actively innovated the content and form of the union's activities, effectively implemented emulation movements, especially the movement "Intelligent and brave Army Women, completing their tasks well, building happy families, worthy of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new era" and the campaign "5 no - 3 clean".

Under her leadership, 100% of the women's union members in the unit are confident in their work, actively participate in movement activities, and build a strong union organization. Not only that, she also proactively connects with local departments, branches, and organizations to organize many cohesive activities, typically the program Accompanying new soldiers; supporting training season; repairing military uniforms; the "Godmother" program to support the upbringing of 3 orphans in the province.

Major Kim Oanh shared: “Every activity, no matter how small, if organized with all my heart, can touch everyone’s heart. I always want to spread the spirit of humanity, responsibility and pride of a female soldier to my teammates and the community.”

With her persistent efforts, she has been recognized and rewarded many times by her superiors. During the period 2020-2025, Major Kim Oanh consecutively won the title of "Outstanding Female Officer" awarded by the Military Region 7 Command. In 2023, she was recognized as a "Grassroots-level Emulation Fighter" and received a Certificate of Merit from the Division for her excellent performance in the "Determined to Win" emulation movement during the period 2019-2024.
