Mr. Quan Minh Cuong re-elected Secretary of Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee

(Dan Tri) - Mr. Quan Minh Cuong was re-elected as Secretary of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee for the 20th term, and Mr. Le Hai Hoa was appointed as Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

On the afternoon of September 17, continuing the content and program of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Congress, delegates listened to a report on the results of the first meeting of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Executive Committee, term XX.

The conference elected the Standing Committee of Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee consisting of 15 members. Mr. Quan Minh Cuong, Secretary of Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee, term XIX, 2020-2025, was re-elected as Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the term 2025-2030.

Mr. Vu Hong Quang was elected as Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Le Hai Hoa was elected as Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Be Thanh Tinh was elected as Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

The conference elected the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee consisting of 11 members and elected a delegation of 19 delegates to attend the 14th National Congress of the Party, including 1 alternate delegate.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Quan Minh Cuong promised to continue promoting revolutionary traditions, renewing thinking and leadership methods; building a team of dedicated, exemplary cadres and party members, close to the people, respecting the people, and for the people; building a clean and strong Party organization, creating a solid foundation to bring Cao Bang firmly into a new era of development.

Mr. Cuong pledged that Cao Bang province will make the most of its unique advantages, mobilize all investment resources for key economic sectors, especially border gate economy and tourism, to create breakthroughs in the new period; strive for an economic growth rate that is quite high compared to other provinces in the Northern Midlands and Mountains region.

Mr. Quan Minh Cuong said the province will implement three key programs including sustainable tourism development, protection and effective exploitation of forest economy, and border gate economic development.

The province's three breakthrough contents are improving the quality of its leadership and management staff and the quality of high-quality human resources; developing transport, urban and environmental infrastructure; promoting science and technology, innovation and digital transformation.
