Mr. Tran Anh Tuan is the Director of Hanoi Department of Science and Technology.

On the morning of July 1, the Hanoi People's Committee held a ceremony to announce Decision No. 3119/QD-UBND of the Chairman of the People's Committee on receiving and appointing Mr. Tran Anh Tuan to the position of Director of the Hanoi Department of Science and Technology.

According to the decision, Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, born on February 28, 1977, with a PhD degree, a member of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Son Tay City Party Committee (before converting to a two-level local government model), was transferred and appointed to the position of Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Hanoi City from July 1, 2025, with a term of appointment of 5 years.

Authorized by the Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee, handing over the decision to Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Truong Viet Dung congratulated and requested Mr. Tran Anh Tuan to continue promoting his capacity, strengths and working experience; proactively research and improve professional skills; promote the spirit of solidarity, together with the collective leadership, cadres and civil servants of the Department of Science and Technology to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Truong Viet Dung emphasized that, in response to the requirement to innovate leadership methods in the spirit of Resolution No. 57/NQ-TU, the capital's science and technology sector needs to constantly innovate, arouse the spirit of dedication in the staff, making Hanoi a leading locality in the country in the field of innovation, meeting the expectations of the people of the capital and the whole country.

In his acceptance speech, the new Director of the Department of Science and Technology, Tran Anh Tuan, expressed his honor and deep awareness of the great responsibility in his new position.
