Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology reviews the current status of digital transformation at the commune level

DNVN - A working delegation of the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai province, led by Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology Nguyen Minh Quang, will review and grasp the current status of digital transformation implementation in communes and wards in the province from September 9 to 16.

The main objective of the survey is to evaluate the investment and exploitation of information technology infrastructure at the People's Committees at the commune level, including the internal network, internet lines and dedicated data lines. The delegation will also focus on reports, recommendations and proposals related to the implementation of equipment procurement for professional work and public administrative service units at the commune level.

In addition, the working group also reviewed the registration of identification codes, digital signatures, digital certificates and accounts for units, cadres, civil servants and public employees to assess the level of participation in exploiting and using the province's shared systems and the implementation of the task of digitizing administrative procedures. In particular, the group will listen to and discuss with localities about the situation of receiving and implementing digital transformation projects, applying information technology after the merger of the province, as well as difficulties, obstacles and propose solutions to overcome in the process of implementing digital transformation at the commune level.

On September 9, the delegation worked and surveyed the current situation in La Nga and Phu Hoa communes. These localities made recommendations to the Department of Science and Technology on a number of important issues, such as proposing guidance and support for localities to invest in synchronous information technology infrastructure, organizing specialized training courses, including direct practice on new software so that officials and civil servants can promptly handle problems arising during operation.

This working session is expected to provide a comprehensive view of the digital transformation situation at the grassroots level, thereby proposing practical support solutions, contributing to promoting the overall digital transformation of Dong Nai province.
