On the morning of July 25, the Thanh Hoa Union of Science and Technology Associations organized a scientific workshop on "Policy to encourage tourism development in Thanh Hoa province, period 2025-2030".

Based on the Draft Proposal for promulgating the policy and related documents sent by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa province to the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations, the opinions of the members of the Review Council and experts, the Union of Associations has developed a research report (for the purpose of introduction) to serve the review workshop "Policy to encourage tourism development in Thanh Hoa province, period 2025 - 2030". The Proposal for promulgating the Resolution clearly states the necessity, legal basis; purpose, viewpoints on developing the Resolution; subjects and scope of application.

Specifically, opinions suggested that it is necessary to clarify the process of building and structure of the Resolution; the context of policy building; the necessity of promulgating and the impacts of the policy; issues that need to be solved to develop tourism in the province at present; propose solutions based on the policies, projects, and plans for tourism development in Thanh Hoa province until 2030 that have been issued; costs and benefits of solutions; solution selection by agencies and organizations and reasons for selection...

At the same time, it is necessary to clarify the policies stated in the Submission and draft Resolution such as: Supporting new investment or upgrading and renovating toilets to meet standards for homestay services; supporting travel agencies to bring tourists to Thanh Hoa province...

The opinions of the members of the Scientific Review Council and the expert groups are the basis for the unit to draft a revised and finalized submission to ensure scientific quality and suitability to practical conditions, and submit it to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and decision.
