Most Americans support President-elect Donald Trump's plan

The latest survey shows that over 50% of Americans participating said they support Donald Trump's agenda in a second term.

More than 59% of Americans approved of President-elect Donald Trump's plans and policies for his upcoming term in the White House, according to a Pew Research Center survey released on November 22. The poll found that 53% of Americans "somewhat" or "strongly" approved of the president-elect's plans for the future. About 46% of respondents disapproved. Most respondents expressed confidence in how Trump would handle the economy , foreign policy, immigration, and criminal justice, but not much confidence in how he would handle abortion rights. Nearly six in 10 Americans, or 59%, said they were "quite" or "very" confident Trump would make the right decisions on economic policy. About 54% had confidence in Trump on criminal justice, while 53% had confidence in foreign policy and immigration. Only 45% of people trust how he will handle the abortion issue. Only about 41% of those surveyed think Mr. Trump will bring the country together again. 52% of respondents said it is "extremely or very important" that Mr. Trump can reach out to Democratic voters to try to unite the country. The survey was conducted from November 12-17 on 9,609 adults with a margin of error of 1.5 percentage points.
