Fine of 15 million VND for possession of hunting guns

Nghi Xuan District People's Committee ( Ha Tinh ) has just decided to administratively fine Mr. Nguyen Van T. (born in 1976, in Xuan Hoi commune, Nghi Xuan district) for illegally possessing hunting guns.

Previously, at 1:00 p.m. on April 13, 2023, Dan Truong Commune Police (Nghi Xuan) patrolled and controlled the area of ​​Truong Vinh village and discovered that Mr. Nguyen Van T. (permanent resident of Xuan Hoi Commune, Nghi Xuan District) was in possession of a hunting gun (black, made of used metal; gun length about 90cm, with a 40cm long black scope, 35cm long air tank printed with the word Cricket and the characters US.NO:PK5657).

During the investigation, Nguyen Van T. admitted to possessing and using a gun, and was discovered by the authorities while hunting birds.

Pursuant to the provisions of Point d, Clause 4, Article 11 of Decree No. 144/2021/ND-CP dated December 31, 2021 of the Government stipulating administrative sanctions for violations in the fields of security, order and social safety; prevention and control of social evils; fire prevention and fighting; rescue; prevention and control of domestic violence, Nghi Xuan District People's Committee issued Decision No. 1644/QD-XPVPHC dated May 17, 2023 to fine Mr. Nguyen Van T. VND 15 million and confiscate the gun according to the provisions of law.
