Launching the Journalism Contest with the theme 'Ninh Binh Health Sector in Me'

The contest is part of a series of activities towards the 70th anniversary of Vietnam Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2025), aiming to promptly recognize and reflect achievements in the work of protecting, caring for and improving people's health. To encourage and promote the patriotic emulation movement, studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh of collectives and individuals in the health sector.

The contest mobilizes the participation of a large number of professional and non-professional journalists inside and outside the province to create high-quality journalistic works to introduce, promote and propagate the Ninh Binh Health sector widely; expanding the position of the health sector to the whole society.

Thereby helping people of all walks of life to better understand the health sector and health workers, actively participate with the health sector in the cause of caring for and protecting people's health; at the same time, encourage and motivate health sector officials and employees to raise their sense of responsibility in protecting people's health, improve medical ethics, wholeheartedly care for patients; properly implement the code of conduct for civil servants and public employees in health service units so that the Ninh Binh health sector can continue to promote good traditions, and at the same time absorb and apply advanced scientific and technical achievements in medical examination and treatment, helping people enjoy modern health services right in the locality.

At the same time, the contest also aims to promote propaganda, encourage, recognize and praise the noble qualities and silent sacrifices of cadres, employees, doctors and nurses in the health sector; contribute to raising awareness among cadres and people in the province about the position, role and responsibility of the Ninh Binh health sector in the cause of protecting, caring for and improving people's health in the new situation.

The types of journalism considered for the award of the Press Contest with the theme "Ninh Binh Health Sector in Me" include: Printed newspapers, electronic newspapers, radio, television, with the following genres: Reflective articles, interviews, notes, comments, monographs, reports, memoirs, investigations, radio and television programs, documentaries, multimedia products, press photos.

Entries must be published and broadcast between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024 on publications and programs of central and local press agencies licensed by the Ministry of Information and Communications.

The award structure and award levels for winning press works in each category include 1 A prize, 2 B prizes, 2 C prizes and 3 consolation prizes.
