Launching the writing contest Deep memories of teachers and school 2025

(NLDO) - The launching ceremony of the writing contest "Deep memories of teachers and school" in 2025 took place on the afternoon of August 20 in Hanoi.

The writing contest about profound memories of teachers and school is organized by the Ministry of Education and Training , Education and Times Newspaper is the unit assigned to be the permanent organizer.

Mr. Trieu Ngoc Lam, Editor-in-Chief of Education and Times Newspaper, spoke at the launching ceremony.

At the ceremony, Mr. Trieu Ngoc Lam, Editor-in-Chief of Education and Times Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee, said that the contest "Deep memories of teachers and schools" in 2025 has become a humane activity, arousing and spreading the tradition of "respecting teachers" - a precious value of the Vietnamese people.

The contest aims to honor and disseminate the experiences of homeroom teachers with good feelings, work and achievements by encouraging students, teachers, education managers and parents to write about their profound memories of homeroom teachers and homeroom work.

According to Mr. Trieu Ngoc Lam, school, where students spend their days, is not only a place to impart knowledge but also a place to preserve the most beautiful memories of their student years. The contest is an opportunity for students to express their deep gratitude to the teachers who have contributed to creating those unforgettable memories.

Sharing at the ceremony, Mr. Pham Quynh - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Education Publishing House - emphasized that the writing contest about teachers with its 14-year journey has become a vivid proof of the deep affection of Vietnamese people for their schools and teachers. Hundreds of thousands of articles from all over the country have truly reflected the tireless efforts, imbued with the love between teachers and students.

"The articles are not only memories but also emotional nuances, stories full of images and emotions, allowing us to visualize the precious moments the writer has experienced.

Reading those articles, we seem to see the country's major educational orientations through each period conveyed to students through stories, pedagogical situations and very humane behaviors" - Mr. Pham Quynh expressed.

The Organizing Committee awards 2 collective prizes; 2 First prizes; 4 Second prizes; 6 Third prizes; 10 Encouragement prizes; 2 Prizes for Outstanding Characters in the winning works; Additional prizes are considered and decided by the Organizing Committee of the contest, depending on the actual situation of each year of organization.

Regarding the prize value, the First Prize has a certificate of merit from the Minister of Education and Training and 10,000,000 VND/prize;

Second Prize: Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training and VND 8,000,000/prize;

Third Prize: Certificate of Competition Award issued by the Ministry of Education and Training and VND 6,000,000/prize;

Encouragement Prize: Certificate of Competition Award issued by the Ministry of Education and Training and 3,000,000 VND/prize.

Collective award: Certificate issued by the Ministry of Education and Training and VND 5,000,000/prize.

Secondary prize: Certificate issued by the Ministry of Education and Training and VND 2,000,000/prize.

The results of the competition will be announced to the winners and published in the Education and Times Newspaper and the website of the Ministry of Education and Training. The closing ceremony and award ceremony are expected to be held in November 2025.
