Previously, at around 4:30 p.m. on October 24, the Economic - Environmental Police Team, Thanh Khe District Police suddenly inspected compliance with environmental and health protection laws at the ID Korea Aesthetic Service Business Establishment (Hung Vuong Street, Thanh Khe District).

Through actual inspection, this facility did not present a Hazardous Waste Collection Contract as prescribed, did not equip specialized trash bins to collect and store medical waste and hazardous waste; did not arrange an area for medical waste bins; medical waste was stored together with regular waste...

In particular, at the time of the inspection, the person known as the "cosmetic doctor" of the facility, Ms. LTH (born in 1999, residing in Nghi Son, Thanh Hoa ), was performing a "breast augmentation" service for a customer but had never received any professional training and did not have any degrees or certificates to practice medical examination and treatment as prescribed.

According to Ms. H, she just graduated from high school and when customers come to contact her to use services, the facility's marketing staff always introduce Ms. H as "The best cosmetic doctor in Da Nang".

Before performing the procedure, "doctor" H also conducted a health check and took blood from the customer for testing purposes, but in reality, the blood drawing was just a trick to increase trust in the facility's professionalism without any testing activities.

Upon inspection, the police discovered that all the blood taken from customers was dumped into the trash can on the third floor of the facility. This blood was not preserved and was left to spill around, posing many dangerous risks of infection.

According to the police, the "ID Korea Aesthetic Institute" advertised on social networks is actually just a facility operating in the field of cosmetic tattooing and embroidery services under a business license issued by the People's Committee of Thanh Khe District on May 22, 2023.

The establishment operates a spa and beauty service business and performs procedures including: breast augmentation, nose augmentation, using interventional machines, injecting fillers, botox and other pharmaceuticals... into the customer's body but does not have a written notice that it meets the conditions for providing beauty services of the Da Nang Department of Health as prescribed.

This beauty facility also used drugs to inject and perform "breast augmentation" intervention services for a customer while it is not a hospital or a unit with expertise in cosmetic surgery.

In addition, the Economic - Environmental Police Team, Thanh Khe District Police also temporarily detained 504 medical supplies stored at this facility because they could not present invoices or documents proving their origin.

The case is under further investigation.
