Behind the successful show of Architecture students

The New Gene 2023 show was held on the evening of May 25, under the direction of the Faculty of Fine Arts Design and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the school. The program is the clearest demonstration of the Fashion Design students with a high spirit of proactive learning. From there, they will be proactive in their own future careers.

Exhibitions and shows like New Gene are also a lively and open practical learning environment for you. The organizing committee of New Gene 2023 - Graduate Fashion Show consists of 66 members divided into small groups to undertake different tasks. In addition, there are more than 100 collaborators, divided into groups to support each other in completing all tasks.

To create the success of New Gene, all members must work with the highest team spirit, solidarity and consensus. A fashion show that wants to be carried out professionally and meticulously requires the coordination of many personnel in many different positions and stages. Each group has specific roles and tasks but still harmonizes with the overall progress of the event. Errors, even from one stage, will have a significant impact on other positions.

Therefore, the Organizing Committee of New Gene 2023 is a group of experienced members from many sub-committees and fields who have highly focused, actively learned, and devoted themselves to the common goal.

Learn outside the show

With the production team all being students, you still have to study in the classroom, you are busy with projects, but everyone has trained themselves how to arrange, organize work and time in the most optimal way to accompany the team, closely following the event preparation progress.

Three months before the event, the organizing committee has regular meetings to determine the theme, come up with ideas about the event theme; Plan performances, design the stage, learn about sound and lighting; Plan and implement event promotion activities; Contact sponsors and partners; Organize casting to select models and MCs; Open applications to select collaborators; General meetings to disseminate work; Organize rehearsals and technical checks; Make a guest list and prepare tickets, make seating plans...

To create the success of the show, the members proactively plan to seek, call for help, companionship, and collaboration from external partners. Each group member has the opportunity to contact and work with partners and professional factors in many fields. From there, they gain a lot of knowledge and practical experience, which is extremely useful for their future career development.

With the position of main manager and team manager, you also practice calmness, know how to arrange a large number of personnel, work, and balance internal and external affairs well. In addition to the professionalism and talent of the executive board, the success of New Gene 2023 cannot be mentioned without the dedication and contributions of the entire program team, the hardworking, enthusiastic young members of the Fashion Club, Hanoi University of Architecture.
