After merging 3 communes (Cu Yen, Lien Son and 12 hamlets of Cao Son commune), Lien Son commune has a natural area of over 120.2km2 , population of over 31,800 people. The commune has 44 hamlets, with ethnic minority population of over 85%.
Currently, the commune's administrative headquarters is located at the headquarters of the People's Council and People's Committee of Cu Yen commune (old) in a central location, convenient for transactions of people and businesses in the area. The basic facilities meet the working requirements of cadres and civil servants in the immediate period. The sense of responsibility of cadres and civil servants after the merger has basically been put into order, making them feel secure in their work.
In practice, the commune government still faces some difficulties in state management in some areas; accessing and using new operating document system software is still problematic. Regarding the operation of the Public Administration Service Center, the connection and integration of software systems are not synchronized, the processing speed is slow, and frequent disconnections affect the work progress of the staff, civil servants, and public employees...
The working group grasped the operational situation at the Lien Son Commune Public Administration Service Center.
After listening to the report of the leaders of the Commune People's Committee and making a number of proposals and recommendations, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Toan highly appreciated the efforts and proactive spirit of the Party Committee and the Commune Government in meeting the requirements of new tasks, ensuring smooth service to the people, without work congestion. He suggested that the Party Committee and the Commune Government in the coming time should focus on prioritizing the handling of work related to administrative procedure settlement.
