According to the traders here, the display, trading and sightseeing activities on Luong Nhu Hoc street take place from July 1 to August 15 of the lunar calendar.

Lanterns have been sold on this street for more than 50 years, and have become a memory for many people. Therefore, every Mid-Autumn Festival, this place becomes an attractive destination not only for children and tourists but also for people in Ho Chi Minh City.

According to Lao Dong, from 7pm Luong Nhu Hoc street begins to be colorful with lanterns and crowded with customers. Especially on weekends, the stalls here will welcome a large number of customers to come and shop.

The lantern street is about 200m long with dozens of stalls selling all kinds of lanterns of many sizes, and a variety of toys from traditional to modern.

Ms. Bui Kim (living in District 6) shared: "I really like the Mid-Autumn atmosphere on Luong Nhu Hoc Street, so every year around this date, I will take my children here to play. My children also really like the lanterns here, especially the traditional lanterns."

This year, traditional lanterns continue to dominate the Vietnamese market with a variety of designs.

In addition to traditional handcrafted lamps, many other unusual lamps are also available.
