(DN) - On the afternoon of August 4, continuing the working program on removing difficulties and obstacles for projects in Dong Nai province, comrade Nguyen Hoa Binh, Politburo member, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister, Head of Steering Committee 751 (Steering Committee on resolving difficulties and obstacles of backlogged projects) and members of Steering Committee 751 inspected the actual situation of 2 projects in the province. After implementing the policy of merging the provincial level and organizing the 2-level local government model, Dong Nai is the first locality where Steering Committee 751 has a working session with the entire steering committee.

The leaders of Dong Nai province attending the working session included comrades: Vu Hong Van, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc, along with comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of the provincial departments and branches.

The working delegation conducted a field survey at Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park, the area implementing the Project to Convert Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park into an Urban - Commercial - Service Area and Environmental Improvement; Project to Improve Landscape and Develop Urban Areas Along the Dong Nai River in Tran Bien Ward.

To implement the Project of Converting Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park into an Urban - Commercial - Service Area and Improving the Environment, Dong Nai Province will reclaim about 329 hectares of land in Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park, of which the priority land area is about 154 hectares.

According to Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha, the locality identified propaganda and mobilization work as one of the top tasks to complete land acquisition, compensation, support, and site clearance for Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park.

In recent times, with the efforts and participation of the entire political system, along with the consensus on policies of businesses and people, by August 1, 2025, in the Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park area, about 129 hectares of land had been relocated and cleared. Of which, 70.5 hectares were in the priority area for site clearance.

Currently, the provincial authorities are continuing to mobilize businesses to agree to hand over the premises and monitor the businesses to fulfill their commitment to complete the relocation to hand over the clean premises. At the same time, they are urgently completing compensation and support plans to submit to the competent authorities for appraisal and approval.

During the field survey, Comrade Nguyen Hoa Binh, Politburo member, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister, Head of Steering Committee 751 supported Dong Nai province's policy of implementing the Project of Converting Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park into an Urban - Commercial - Service Area and Improving the Environment. At the same time, he requested relevant ministries and branches to support Dong Nai province in removing difficulties and speeding up progress.
