Phu My Bac focuses on 3 breakthroughs

Phu My Bac Commune Party Committee currently has 41 branches and affiliated party committees with 1,169 party members.

In recent years, the socio-economic development of communes has achieved many comprehensive results. By 2025, the total product value is estimated to reach more than 1,360 billion VND, with an average growth rate of over 9.4%/year. The infrastructure system has been invested synchronously, and the appearance of the countryside has changed significantly. Many key projects such as Hoc Mon reservoir, Van Dinh lake, Tra O bridge... not only serve agricultural production but also create momentum for trade and tourism.

Agricultural, forestry and fishery production remains the foundation. Grain production averages nearly 20,000 tons/year, forest coverage reaches 43.41%. Traditional industries such as vermicelli, rice paper, lingzhi mushrooms... continue to be maintained, contributing to job creation and increased income for the people.

The fields of trade, services, accommodation and transportation have developed in a diverse manner, in which tourism has initially flourished, with Tra O lagoon as the connecting nucleus.

The 1st Party Congress of the Commune identified many important goals for the 2025 - 2030 term, such as: Product value growth rate reaching 9.1 - 10.2%/year; by 2030, industry - construction and services account for about 61% of the economic structure; budget revenue reaching over 37 billion VND; average income reaching 66 million VND/person/year; striving for the commune to meet advanced new rural standards.

In the social field, by 2030, the rate of population participating in health insurance will reach 95%; poor households will be reduced to 0.36%; 100% of schools will meet national standards; 100% of health stations will have doctors. Environmental indicators are also given importance, especially 100% of rural residents will use clean water.

Mr. Le Phuc Thoai, former Party Secretary of My Chau commune (old), expressed his confidence: “Merging 3 communes into Phu My Bac commune is the right step, creating a larger scale, stronger resources, especially in building new rural areas and developing services - tourism. I believe that, with the tradition of solidarity and enthusiastic staff, Phu My Bac will become a bright spot for development in the province.

The first Congress took place in a special context. This is both an opportunity and a challenge. An opportunity because we can concentrate resources and create new momentum. The challenge is to quickly stabilize the organization, maintain solidarity and create consensus among the people. With high political determination, the Commune Party Committee will focus on developing a sustainable agricultural economy, exploiting tourism potential, promoting digital transformation, maintaining national defense and security and building a clean and strong political system.

The Congress also proposed three breakthroughs: Administrative reform, comprehensive digital transformation; investment in developing synchronous and modern infrastructure; development of high-quality human resources associated with economic restructuring. These are strategic orientations, meeting the requirements of sustainable development and integration.

The Congress also identified the key task of building a clean and strong Party organization in all aspects; every year, over 90% of Party organizations and Party members successfully complete their tasks; the rate of new Party members is 3% or higher. Along with that, it is necessary to innovate leadership methods, strengthen inspection and supervision, and strictly maintain discipline and order within the Party.

With the right direction and determination of the Party Committee, the consensus of cadres, Party members and people, Phu My Bac is expected to become a land of dynamic and sustainable development.
