Phu Tho: Mobilizing provincial civil servants to work in communes

On the afternoon of September 26, the People's Committee of Phu Tho province held a conference to announce and hand over the decision to transfer provincial-level civil servants and public employees to work at the commune level.

Implementing the conclusions of the Politburo and the Secretariat, to overcome the shortage of human resources and promptly enhance capacity at the commune level, the Standing Committee of Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee has issued a plan to strengthen, mobilize and second civil servants and public employees to work in communes and wards in the area.

After the deployment, nearly 400 provincial-level civil servants and public employees registered to work at the commune level. Based on the temporary staffing numbers, orientations on job positions of agencies and units, and the results of a comprehensive review of the current status of civil servants and public employees; the People's Committee of Phu Tho province decided to transfer 102 government officials and 38 provincial-level Party and mass organization officials to the commune.

Along with that, this locality will strengthen and second 150 provincial-level civil servants and public employees to commune-level for 3 to 6 months to perform professional tasks; at the same time, transfer about 100 civil servants from communes and wards with surplus to communes with shortage.

Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong emphasized that this mobilization demonstrates the high political determination of the locality in perfecting the organizational apparatus, enhancing capacity at the commune level; overcoming the shortage of specialized staff at the grassroots level, especially in specific fields such as information technology, digital transformation, accounting, land, construction, etc.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province hopes that civil servants and public employees will proactively grasp their work, improve their knowledge, share experiences, and overcome difficulties to quickly catch up with work at the grassroots level and successfully complete assigned tasks.
