Secretary of the Di An Ward Party Committee Vo Van Hong said that the ward has mobilized 19 neighborhoods in the area to grasp and make a list of households lacking rice to carry out social work, take care of these cases, and not let anyone in the ward go without meals or lack rice to eat.
The Party Committee and People's Committee of the ward also requested the Executive Board of the residential areas to regularly propagate, mobilize and encourage people to actively participate in the activities of Civilized Saturday and the movement of the whole people to protect the security of the Fatherland, thereby contributing significantly to building a secure, safe, civilized and modern ward.
On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of the ward organized gift giving to disadvantaged families, aiming to join hands to help households continue to strive to overcome difficulties, improve their lives, and accompany the ward's political system in implementing movements and campaigns to build a civilized and cultural urban lifestyle.
On the same morning, the authorities and people in Di An ward continued to implement Civilized Saturday, deploying teams to remove illegally posted advertisements and clean the sidewalks on many streets.
