Phuong My Chi cried not because of the ranking

Sharing on her personal page, Phuong My Chi said she cried "not because of the ranking but because of something even more painful, which is the feeling of not being able to sing the last song, the song Chi and the crew had devoted all their heart to preparing".

Episode 5 of CONNECT Vlog, newly posted on the evening of July 29, revealed that the last song Phuong My Chi prepared was Song of the Southern Land.

Initially, she only prepared one song for this decisive competition night, but the competition rules changed, contestants had to prepare three performances, which gave Chi a "headache".

This is a performance that Chi and her crew have worked very hard to prepare. "The first time I saw the full set of tranh - flute - gourd - moon on the rehearsal stage, Chi was very proud and looked forward to harmonizing her voice with the traditional sounds, but in the end, Chi could not do it," she said.

Chi shared that she did not cry because she was sad when she stopped at the top 3, but cried because when she went backstage, she saw the uncles, aunts, brothers and sisters in the ethnic band had prepared very neatly, with scarves on their shoulders, everyone was very ready for this final performance. That image made Chi emotional, she will never forget.

Phuong My Chi added that throughout the Sing! Asia journey, every moment standing on stage was the result of her constant efforts and the silent but extremely valuable support from the team behind her.

"More importantly, the comfort and affection from everyone helped Chi realize that the most precious trophy is the sincere love from those who always follow and support her," she confided.
