Quang Hanh has advantages in traffic and impressive natural landscape, the intersection between mountains and sea. In the ward, there are hot mineral springs deep underground, rich in minerals, which are considered one of the valuable resources not only in terms of economy , but also in terms of community health. These advantages are considered to be a plus for investors in resort and marine ecological tourism.
With a strategic vision, in recent years, that potential has been exploited in the right direction thanks to the participation of major investors. The most prominent mark is the Yoko Onsen Quang Hanh Japanese-standard hot spring resort complex invested by Sun Group. Since 2020, the resort has been put into operation with a total investment of over 3,500 billion VND, becoming a bright spot in the development of health care tourism in the traditional Japanese onsen style.
Not only maintaining its identity, Yoko Onsen has created a new resort style in the heart of the heritage, conquering domestic and foreign tourists. Evaluating the experience here, Mr. Nguyen Nhat Minh ( Ho Chi Minh City) shared: "Coming to Yoko Onsen, I feel the sophistication in each service and the healing value of hot springs. This is a true place to rest, both modern and close to nature."
Sun Group Corporation is continuing to research and build Yoko Park, implementing the project to expand the Quang Hanh Mineral Spring Resort, Health Care and Ecological Urban Complex. The project is oriented to develop into a multifunctional hot mineral park, including a commercial area, high-class resort, theme park, health treatment area, 5-star hotel, forming a "closed tourism ecosystem" serving domestic and international tourists.
Quang Hanh is receiving new momentum as Vingroup Corporation is researching and investing in a large-scale coastal ecological resort urban area. The project is expected to integrate subdivisions of resort villas, hotels, marinas, commercial centers and cultural and culinary experience spaces, synchronous smart infrastructure. In August 2025, Vingroup Corporation will start construction on a golf course project with a scale of over 100 hectares in the area.
In the ward, there are also projects: Ngoc Island of TTP Group; Ha Rang coal mine renovation; geological hot mineral bath area of the Coal industry... The total investment for tourism and service projects in the ward is estimated at 3 billion USD, a figure that shows the attractiveness and development stature of the locality in the coming period.
Mr. Nguyen Tien Phong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Ward People's Committee, affirmed: Attracting strategic investors such as Sun Group, Vingroup to increase the value of mineral springs to international standards, not only brings economic value, but also lays the foundation for sustainable development. In the future, when the projects are put into operation, it will be a new growth pole, contributing to shaping the modern urban appearance of Quang Hanh in the coming period.
Accompanying strategic investors, the ward is transforming its development model, identifying tourism - services - trade as the main axis in the economic structure. According to the roadmap, by 2030 the ward will have an industrial - construction structure accounting for 70.02%, trade - services reaching 29.94%, agriculture - forestry - fishery 0.04%. This shift demonstrates the determination to develop a harmonious relationship between clean industry and high-end tourism, increase the value of land and resources, and improve the quality of life of the people. Quang Hanh strives to increase the average product value by over 15.3%/year, and increase per capita income by over 30% by 2030.
To realize the goal, the ward identified land acquisition and technical infrastructure development as a breakthrough. In particular, the Ha Long - Cam Pha coastal route is playing the role of an inter-regional connecting axis, opening up new space for the development of coastal urban space in Quang Hanh; the Ben Do fish market is being researched, planned, and renovated into a sea-facing park.
The ward strongly reforms administrative procedures, builds digital government, digital urban areas and applies technology in service management and operation. The ward encourages businesses to develop night tourism products, health care services, beach entertainment and regional cuisine...
