In order to gradually form large-scale concentrated commodity production areas, Quang Xuong district has implemented many solutions to create favorable conditions for organizations and individuals to accumulate and concentrate land, contributing to improving the efficiency of agricultural production and people's income.

Quang Xuong implements many solutions to accumulate and concentrate land. From land accumulation and concentration, Quang Trung commune (Quang Xuong) has built a large-scale aquaculture area.

In recent times, Quang Trung commune has actively encouraged people to consolidate land, exchange plots, transfer, lease, and contribute capital with land use rights with organizations and individuals to develop large-scale production. From 2020 to now, the commune has accumulated and concentrated more than 200 hectares of agricultural and aquaculture land. Mr. Mai Ngoc Tu, Chairman of Quang Trung Commune People's Committee, said: In order to exploit and promote the potential and efficiency of land, the commune has reviewed and planned the entire area of sedge and low-yielding rice land to propagate and encourage people to invest in converting the structure of crops and livestock appropriately. From land accumulation and concentration, the locality has developed large-scale concentrated aquaculture areas with an area of 340 hectares, concentrated in Ngoc Tra 1, 2, Loc Tien, Thanh Tien villages... Many households have invested in intensive white-leg shrimp and black tiger shrimp farming models applying high technology, according to VietGAP standards. Most of the models converted to aquaculture have been bringing high economic efficiency with an average income value of 200 million VND/ha/year, many times higher than before the conversion.

In order to accumulate and concentrate land, develop large-scale agricultural production, and apply high technology to achieve high results, Quang Xuong district has mobilized the entire political system to mobilize union members, association members, and people to organize implementation. Thereby, it has created high unity and consensus from awareness to action among Party committees, authorities, sectors, enterprises, and farmers in implementing land accumulation. From 2020 to May 2023, the whole district has accumulated and concentrated nearly 1,078 hectares of land for large-scale agricultural production, applying high technology. Since then, large production areas have been formed in the district, including a large-scale high-quality rice production area, linking product consumption according to the value chain with a scale of more than 805 hectares in the communes of Quang Ngoc, Quang Van, Quang Hoa, Quang Hop, Quang Yen, Quang Long, Quang Truong... with an average yield of 75 quintals/ha or more. The safe vegetable and fruit production area is concentrated in the direction of VietGAP with more than 44 hectares in the communes of Quang Chinh, Quang Hop, Quang Luu, Quang Loc, Quang Yen, Tien Trang, Quang Dinh, Tan Phong town. In the district, 104 livestock, aquaculture and mixed farms have been built in 24 communes and towns with an area of nearly 400 hectares.

Mr. Le Dai Hiep, Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Quang Xuong district, said: The district's agricultural sector has actively coordinated with communes and towns to further disseminate the guiding viewpoints and objectives of Resolution No. 13-NQ/TU, dated January 11, 2019 of the Provincial Party Committee on land accumulation and concentration for large-scale, high-tech agricultural development by 2025, with a vision to 2030, thereby making people change their mentality of keeping land and reserving land funds. The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of the district has also reviewed and advised the District People's Committee, oriented and formed production areas of key and advantageous products in communes and towns. On that basis, the district encourages and creates favorable conditions for organizations and individuals to invest in production linkages with people and cooperatives. In addition, the district has promoted the implementation of many solutions to encourage organizations and individuals to invest in agriculture and rural areas, such as: creating favorable conditions in terms of mechanisms, policies, land funds, loans... In addition to the province's agricultural development support policy, Quang Xuong also has a mechanism to support the construction of models, safe vegetable production applying high technology; support rice production areas according to VietGAP standards, build infrastructure for brackish water shrimp farming applying high technology...
