On April 3, the 18th conference of the Party Executive Committee of Nhu Xuan district, term XXIII, was held to evaluate the implementation of tasks in the first quarter and set out key directions for the second quarter of 2024.

In the first quarter, with a spirit of high determination, great efforts, and drastic actions, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, members of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, members of the District Party Executive Committee, departments, branches, and organizations have strengthened their grasp of the grassroots situation, people's lives, and production; at the same time, synchronously deployed the goals, tasks, and solutions set out right from the first days and months of the year.

Therefore, the Party Committee, government and people of Nhu Xuan district have achieved positive results in many fields. Notably: Focusing on directing and accelerating the implementation of steps to start projects according to the 2024 public investment plan; state budget revenue in the first quarter reached 498.3 billion VND, reaching 67% of the provincial estimate and 65% of the district estimate, equal to 156% over the same period (CK); total export value in the first 3 months of the year is estimated at 5.7 million USD, equal to 27.1% of the plan (KH) and equal to 109.6% CK. Investment and business development activities have received attention and direction, in the first quarter, investment policies were approved for 14 projects, contractor selection for 3 projects was approved and final settlement of 10 projects was approved... Culture and education have many positive changes; National defense and security are guaranteed... People celebrate the Lunar New Year 2024 happily, healthily, safely, economically, and meaningfully.

At the conference, the Party Executive Committee of Nhu Xuan district identified the second quarter as the acceleration quarter, from which it set out the key tasks, which are: Continue to effectively implement production development programs in 2024; prepare conditions to organize a 5-year review of the implementation of Resolution No. 13-NQ/TU, dated January 11, 2019 of the Provincial Party Executive Committee on land accumulation and concentration for large-scale, high-tech agricultural development by 2025, with a vision to 2030, associated with commending exemplary Party cell secretaries, village and neighborhood heads.
Urge to speed up the construction progress of works and projects, especially key works of the district. Speed up the disbursement progress of public investment projects in 2024; coordinate to guide the settlement of records, procedures, and site clearance for land use rights auctions for communes and towns; regularly inspect and guide units to implement investment projects, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Focus on leading, directing, and guiding communes and villages to mobilize and integrate resources, especially resources from the people to build new rural areas; strive to complete 2 communes and 10 villages meeting new rural standards, 7 villages meeting model new rural areas; strive to have 7 or more products evaluated and ranked as OCOP by 2024... Successfully organize the 5th Dinh Thi Festival in 2024. Improve the quality of education; implement social security well; ensure national defense and security and strengthen the work of building the Party and the political system...
