In the third quarter of 2025, Hanoi will submit for approval detailed planning for old apartment buildings.

VTV.vn - On September 22, the Steering Committee for Renovation and Reconstruction of Old Apartment Buildings in Hanoi issued Action Plan No. 03/KH-BCĐ with specific contents.

Accordingly, the Director of the Department of Planning and Architecture is assigned to preside over and direct units to focus on researching and submitting for approval detailed plans/master plans for renovation and reconstruction of old apartment buildings/groups/buildings in the following areas: Giang Vo, Ngoc Ha, Ba Dinh, Kim Lien, Dong Da, Lang, Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam, Hoan Kiem, Cua Nam, Hai Ba Trung, Bach Mai, Nghia Do, Thanh Xuan, Hoang Mai, Tuong Mai.

The work of preparing and submitting for approval detailed plans, master plans and projects to gather all apartment complexes and condominiums will be given priority for completion in the third quarter of 2025; other localities strive to complete in the fourth quarter of 2025.

The inspection of all old apartment buildings in the area is targeted to be completed before the fourth quarter of 2025.

The Director of the Hanoi Department of Construction shall preside over and coordinate with the Director of the Department of Finance to direct the research and development of a mechanism for the State to invest in the construction of technical infrastructure outside the boundaries of old apartment buildings, groups, and buildings to support investment projects to renovate and rebuild old apartment buildings according to regulations, advise, propose, and report to the City People's Committee.
