Launching the Ea Kar District Tay Nguyen Folk Song

On August 15, at the District's Center for Communication - Culture - Sports , the People's Committee of Ea Kar district organized the launching of the Ea Kar District Tay Nguyen Folk Song - Cheo Club and exchanged with folk song clubs nationwide.

The Ea Kar District Tay Nguyen Folk Song - Cheo Club was established under Decision No. 948 dated May 19, 2023 of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, with 20 members who are the cultural core of communes and towns in the district and some districts in the province.

Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ea Kar district Nguyen Van Ha presented the decision and flowers to congratulate the Ea Kar district Tay Nguyen Folk Song - Cheo Club.

The club was established to create a useful playground for those who love folk art and traditional Cheo to exchange and learn experiences, thereby promoting the development of the grassroots art movement.

At the launching ceremony, the Ea Kar District Folk Song and Cheo Club organized an exchange program with 17 national folk song clubs and clubs in the province and locality. With more than 100 actors, the units brought 40 attractive Cheo and folk song performances, typically some excerpts from Quan Am Thi Kinh Cheo, Cheo scenes, Cheo melodies echoing the Central Highlands... attracting a large audience to watch and cheer.
