1. Reviewing foreign language exemption certificates in the 2023 high school graduation exam in Ho Chi Minh City
Accordingly, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City requests high schools, multi-level high schools, continuing education centers, vocational education - continuing education centers (referred to as registration units) to review the types of foreign language certificates of candidates exempted from the foreign language exam in the consideration of high school graduation recognition as follows:
- Verify candidates' foreign language certificates according to the instructions of the Department of Quality Management - Ministry of Education and Training in Official Dispatch 889/QLCL- QLVBCC dated June 9, 2023.
- Check the validity of the certificate until at least June 27, 2023.
- Check the minimum score achieved for the certificate and the certifying unit according to the table below:

2. Cases of candidates exempted from foreign language exams in the 2023 high school graduation exam
Candidates exempted from foreign language exam in the 2023 high school graduation exam include:
- Member of the national team participating in the International Olympic Competition in Foreign Languages according to the Decision of the Minister of Education and Training.
- Candidates have one of the valid foreign language certificates (same or different from the Foreign Language subject being studied at high school), valid until at least June 27, 2023 and achieving the minimum score according to the table below:
