Nghe An highlands take advantage of every rain to go to the fields to sow the winter-spring rice crop.

In July, when the first rains of the season pour down on the mountain slopes, people in the highland districts of Nghe An are busy planting the winter-spring rice crop, with the hope of a bountiful harvest.

In the highland districts of Nghe An such as Ky Son, Tuong Duong, Que Phong, Quy Chau..., from the end of June until now, ethnic people have begun to enter the peak season of planting winter-spring rice. Unlike the plains, where the irrigation system is basically complete, in the highlands, irrigation water mainly depends on natural streams and rain, so when there is rain, people rush to the fields to plow the land and plant rice.
