Meanwhile, the price of SJC gold bars traded at DOJI in Hanoi at the end of the session on January 29 was listed at 74.15 million VND per tael for buying and 76.75 million VND per tael for selling.
The international spot gold price on Kitco floor at 9:45 p.m. on January 29, Vietnam time was at 2,022.5 USD per ounce. The gold price for April 2024 delivery on Comex floor, New York was at 2,049 USD per ounce.

On the stock market , at the end of the trading session on January 29, the VN-Index increased by 0.02 points to 1,175.69 points. The HNX-Index decreased by 0.38 points to 229.05 points. The UPCoM-Index decreased by 0.1 points to 87.6 points.
The central exchange rate between the Vietnamese Dong and the US dollar announced by the State Bank on January 29 was 24,036 VND/USD, unchanged from the previous session. The USD price at commercial banks on January 29 decreased slightly, listed at the end of the session around 24,345-24,715 VND/USD (buy - sell).
On the contrary, the world USD price increased. The DXY index - measuring the strength of the USD compared to 6 major currencies - at 9:39 p.m. on January 29, Vietnam time, was at 103.74 points, up 0.3% compared to the previous session.
Today, January 30, the price of gasoline and oil on the international market was adjusted down slightly after increasing to a 2-month high. Analysts said that the oil price adjusted down before continuing a new upward trend.
In the domestic market, the selling prices of gasoline and oil today, January 30, are applied according to the prices at the management session on the afternoon of January 25 of the Ministry of Finance and Industry and Trade.
Accordingly, retail prices of gasoline and oil were adjusted up. Of which, the price of RON 95 gasoline increased beyond 23,000 VND per liter.
Specifically, the price of E5 gasoline increased to 22,170 VND per liter. The price of RON95 gasoline was raised to 23,400 VND per liter.
Meanwhile, diesel price increased to 20,370 VND per liter. Kerosene price increased to 20,540 VND per liter.
