Vietnam International Digital Week 2025 with the theme "AI Institution" will have 1 ministerial roundtable session and 6 key topics, along with international cooperation forum activities and technology demonstrations.
Nearly 1,000 delegates from more than 30 countries are expected to attend, including senior leaders of international organizations (United Nations, ITU, ASEAN, World Bank, EU, etc.); ministers of ASEAN countries and strategic partners such as Australia, South Korea, the United States; leaders of global technology corporations Starlink, Qualcomm, SK, Huawei, Nokia, Ericsson, Viettel .
On September 29, the Ministry of Science and Technology will organize a ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Post and Telecommunications sector, the 66th anniversary of the Science and Technology sector and the 1st Patriotic Emulation Congress. The event is meaningful in marking the 80th anniversary of the establishment and development of the Post and Telecommunications sector, and at the same time honoring the 66 years of contributions of the Science and Technology sector to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
This is also an opportunity to recognize and express gratitude to generations of leaders, officials, scientists , and businesses who have made efforts to contribute, bringing the two industries to strong development, becoming important pillars in the process of national digital transformation and international integration, while at the same time arousing pride, spirit of innovation and the will to develop breakthroughs in the new period.
The leaders of the Ministry of Science and Technology also said that from October 1 to 3, the National Innovation Festival 2025 and the Vietnam International Innovation Exhibition 2025 will take place in Hanoi, organized by the National Innovation Center (NIC, Ministry of Finance ) in coordination with the Department of Innovation (SATI, Ministry of Science and Technology). This is a key event to connect the national innovation ecosystem, promote links between state management agencies, businesses, institutes and international organizations.
At the event, the Ministry of Science and Technology will announce the Local Innovation Index 2025. The exhibition is expected to attract 40,000 visitors, gather hundreds of domestic and foreign enterprises, display new products and technologies in 11 key areas, along with forums, seminars, STEM programs...
In October 2025, the Ministry of Science and Technology will focus on receiving and explaining the opinions of the National Assembly Standing Committee, completing 4 draft laws: Law amending the Law on High Technology; Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Technology Transfer; Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Intellectual Property; Law on Digital Transformation; ensuring progress in submitting them to the National Assembly for consideration and approval at the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly. At the same time, the Ministry of Science and Technology is developing and submitting to the Government for submission to the National Assembly the draft Law on Artificial Intelligence.
