The 2025 high school graduation exam scores will be announced at 8:00 a.m. on July 16. What should candidates pay attention to?

According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), the examination councils of provinces and cities will start marking the high school graduation exam from July 5 to 13 (summarizing the marking, sending data to the MOET , and comparing the exam results). At exactly 8:00 a.m. on July 16, the examination councils will announce the exam results.

Departments of Education and Training must complete high school graduation exams no later than July 18. High school principals must issue temporary graduation certificates, return transcripts, and related certificates (originals) to candidates no later than July 22.

Candidates who want to review their exam results should send their applications to the exam registration units from July 16 to July 25. The review will be completed by August 3 at the latest and graduation recognition after review will be considered by August 8 at the latest.

Departments of Education and Training must send the list of recognized graduates to the Ministry of Education and Training no later than August 15.

University admission schedule

Regarding university admission time, candidates who are eligible for direct admission and priority admission must submit their applications before 5:00 p.m. on June 30. Candidates who are eligible for direct admission will be notified by training institutions before July 15 and must continue to register their admission wishes on the admission system according to the general schedule.

From July 10 to 20, the Departments of Education and Training will provide additional accounts for candidates (high school and college graduates) who do not have an account to register for admission on the system to carry out online registration.

Other candidates register their admission wishes on the system from July 16 to 5:00 p.m. on July 28 (no limit on the number of wishes). On July 21, the Ministry of Education and Training will announce the threshold to ensure the quality of input for the teaching and health sectors with a license to practice.

From 5:00 p.m. on July 23, training institutions will announce the admission scores and equivalent admission scores on the system and on the training institutions' websites. From July 29 to 5:00 p.m. on August 5, candidates will pay the admission fee online on the system.

Training institutions will notify candidates who have passed the first round of admission from 5:00 p.m. on August 22. Candidates will confirm their first round of admission online on the system from 5:00 p.m. on August 30. Training institutions (with remaining quotas) will notify additional admissions from September 1.
