Speaking to reporters on the morning of March 20, MSc. Pham Thai Son, Director of the Admissions and Communications Center - Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, said that the school has based on the training progress of the 2025 - 2026 school year, the 2026 Lunar New Year holiday is expected to last 4 weeks from February 9, 2026 to March 8, 2026 (December 22, 2025 to January 21, 2026 lunar calendar). The school has also announced the schedule for the summer vacation and summer semester of 2026, expected to be in July and August 2026.

"Around May 2025, students will start registering for courses. It is not too early for the school to announce the Tet holiday information. All holidays during the year are planned in advance, the school will notify students to proactively register for suitable courses and have a plan to have a more economical Tet holiday, happier with their families" - MSc.
